Techno-like music soon started booming from the speakers, making me feel as if I was back in Berghain. Which would in a way be great because I love Berghain, but not in the middle of the day when I’m trying to have some drinks with work colleagues.
Location: Core, City of London, London
Camera: iPhone 6
The sheer number of people drinking outside Core could have easily misled people into believing this was due to the merits of the place, but really I think it’s more the location. Not that the interior isn’t nice – it is a bit funky, cool lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling in an otherwise typical bar establishment.

Long gone is the appreciation in (some) bars about the ability to have conversation with others without having to shout.
The place is also rather pricey.
